You are receiving NEEP Notes because you expressed an interest in doing so. However, we at NEEP value your privacy; rest assured that we do not sell, rent, or give your name or address to anyone. At any point, you can select the link at the bottom of every email to unsubscribe.
In response to anti-spam legislation, nearly all Internet Service Providers are implementing protective standards and measures in order to stem the tide of spam flowing into their users' email inboxes. If you use either Outlook 2003 or AOL 9.0, please note that you now have spam control features, which will result in your issue of NEEP Notes not displaying or reading correctly by your software. Namely, the layout of the newsletter will appear, but you may have blank areas where the images are located and the links embedded will not work. To follow are simple tips that you can employ to remedy this situation:
If you are an Outlook 2003 user:
Designate shan@neep.org as a "Safe Sender" and "Safe Recipient." This will ensure that my email address will be recognized by Outlook and your delivery of NEEP Notes will not be interrupted and will display correctly. To perform this function, right-click the "Junk E-mail" options tab and select from a list of options to approve the "From Address" or the email domain (neep.org).
If you are an AOL 9.0 user:
Add shan@neep.org in your "People I Know" list in your address book. This means that your version of AOL will recognize my email address and your delivery of NEEP Notes will not be interrupted and will display correctly. Please note that there will be a link at the top of your page titled "Show images and enable links to view any graphics within your email." By clicking on that link, any picture on the NEEP Notes page will be displayed, and all embedded links will become clickable.
As always, should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email.
