NEEP welcomes new interns
Matt D’Alessio, Regional Initiatives Intern

Matt joined NEEP in November 2007 and has since assisted with work related to the ENERGY STAR Products and Residential HVAC Initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and Technology from The George Washington University.
Alex McPherson, High Performance Schools Intern

As the High Performance Schools Exchange intern, Alex’s main responsibilities revolve around collecting and organizing information. He is currently building a process to compile case studies of high performance schools and make them available to the public. Other projects include analysis of regional high performance school criteria, collecting breaking news in the green building field, and general website maintenance.
Alex’s previous work with Outward Bound prepared him well for NEEP by further inspiring his concern for the environment, as well as allowing him to appreciate a roof over his head. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, as well as in Environmental Science from Colby College.
