Environment America, one of NEEP's policy allies, has released a report, "Building Better: How High-Efficiency Buildings Will Save Money and Reduce Global Warming." It highlights the economic and environmental benefits of reducing energy use in buildings and calls on states to move towards net zero energy buildings and to implement retrofit programs that can achieve 30 percent savings in existing buildings.
