Overview

Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships, Inc. (NEEP) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 whose mission is to promote energy efficiency in homes, buildings and industry in the Northeast United States. It is NEEP's vision that the Northeast will become a national role model by investing in energy efficiency policies and programs as the basis of a sustainable energy policy, a vibrant economy, and a healthy environment.

NEEP applies our core values of Advocacy, Collaboration and Expertise to three project areas, allowing us to reach and impact a broad audience.

NEEP Regional Initiatives increase the marketplace availability and adoption of quality energy efficient practices and technologies in the Northeast. NEEP plans and facilitates many initiatives including:

ENERGY STAR Products
ENERGY STAR Windows
Residential High Efficiency HVAC
Premium Efficiency Motors
High Efficiency Commercial Unitary HVAC
Commercial and Industrial Information Exchange

NEEP Policy, Outreach and Communication efforts develop and maintain a positive environment for the promotion of energy efficiency in the Northeast through four projects:

Strategic Communications
Public Policy Outreach
The Northeast States Minimum Efficiency Standards Project
NEEP Annual Conference

NEEP Training and Education increases the availability and demand for best practices in the design, construction and maintenance of buildings in an energy and resource efficient manner. NEEP facilitates regional training programs in three areas:

Building Operator Certification (BOC)
High Performance Schools Exchange
Regional Building Energy Codes Project

Partner with NEEP and help change the way the Northeast uses energy.
