THE OMNI MOUNT WASHINGTON RESORT: GRAND HISTORY, MODERN LUXURY
Luxury resort in the New Hampshire mountains

As grand as the history behind it, Omni Mount Washington Resort, located in the White Mountains of Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, is gracious in ambiance and generous in amenities. A favorite New England retreat of presidents, poets and celebrities, the hotel delights every sense with enchanting music, refined dining and luxurious décor. A grand masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture, Omni Mount Washington Resort was a two-year labor of love for 250 master craftsmen. Conceived by industrialist Joseph Stickney, this National Historic Landmark opened in 1902 and has been attracting generations of families ever since.

It’s grand architecture and view of the White Mountains has also attracted policy leaders to visit and work together on issues of global import. In 1944, The Mount Washington hosted the Bretton Woods International Monetary Conference. Delegates from 44 nations convened, establishing the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, setting the gold standard at $35 an ounce and designating the United States dollar as the backbone of international exchange. The signing of the formal documents took place in the Gold Room, located off the Hotel Lobby and now preserved as an historic site.

Fabled for its elegance and grandeur, the resort boasts a classic Donald Ross-designed golf course, award-winning alpine and Nordic ski centers, luxurious signature spa, decadent dining facilities and nine high-flying zip-lines. After meeting with your colleagues to discuss the future of energy efficiency, unwind in luxurious guest room accommodations, the spa or enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains with an outdoor stroll. The Omni Mount Washington Hotel is located in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, only 2.5 hours from Boston.

GETTING TO THE OMNI MT. WASHINGTON RESORT:

Omni Mt. Washington Resort

310 Mt. Washington Hotel Road
Bretton Woods, NH 03575

The easiest way to get to Mt Washington from points in the Northeast is by car. To help NEEP Summit attendees reduce their carbon footprint en route to the Summit, we’ve built a rideshare board - open only to Summit registrants - to encourage carpooling. Both drivers and passengers can list their starting point and route to Mt. Washington, offering rides to those on the way. We hope this enables easier access to the event, and while NEEP is not responsible for the individual carpools, please contact Lucie Carriou with any questions.
