Community Spotlight: How a Small Town Made Big Changes to Reduce its Energy Consumption

Date: June 30th, 2017
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Communities have the power. Local-level initiatives are key drivers when it comes to reducing energy usage and carbon emissions in the NEEP region. This is true because community leaders have a deep understanding of the unique opportunities that exist within each municipality, and how to design programs to meet those needs with the deepest impact. Wayland, Massachusetts is a great example. The town has demonstrated how local stakeholders can successfully implement projects that save money and reduce impact on the environment. Join us on June 30 at 10:00 a.m. to hear all about Wayland’s initiatives, which range from LED streetlight retrofits to the installation of solar arrays, and more. The webinar will also highlight resources to help replicate similar achievements in your community.
