Join NEEP's Elizabeth Titus (Interim Director of the Regional EM&V Forum), Carolyn Sarno-Goldthwaite (Senior Program Manager, High Performance Public Buildings), Brian Buckley (Senior Policy Associate) and a diverse group of professionals from around the world at the 2016 Summer Study in California. This session is the 19th biennial ACEEE conference on Energy Efficiency in Buildings.

Participants will gather at this pre-eminent meeting to discuss the technological basis for, and practical implementation of, actions to reduce energy use and the climate impacts associated with buildings. The Summer Study enables sharing of ideas and dialog among leading thinkers, visionaries, and luminaries in the field, while in the midst of the magnificent natural setting of Asilomar.

Past Participants Have Included: Policymakers; utility staff; architects; builders; financial and insurance professionals involved with buildings; clean-tech investors; building products, equipment, and appliance manufacturers; building owners and operators; engineers; local, state, and federal agency personnel; energy researchers; NGOs; consultants; behavioral scientists; and energy efficiency professionals.

Elizabeth Titus will be part of Panel #7, which will cover market transformation with speed and scale. Her contribution will higlight emerging technologies and their cost. Carolyn Sarno-Goldthwaite will be part of Panel #5 on codes and standards, discussing regional construction trends, impacts, and energy codes. Brian Buckley will participate on Panel #6 dedicated to utilities and the future. His discussion will cover the integration of demand response and energy efficiency programs.
