Building upon the success of NEEP's 10th Anniversary Celebration in 2006, NEEP once again hosted the Northeast Energy Efficiency Summit on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Westin Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island.
The 2007 Summit theme was "Energy Efficiency as a Competitive Advantage."
Through a full day conference with speakers and panel presentations, a day long exhibit area showcasing energy efficiency technologies and solutions and an evening dinner event to celebrate business leadership in energy efficiency, the Summit increased the visibility of energy efficiency as a resource to grow the region's economy. In addition, the Summit proceedings encouraged policymakers, business leaders, and community members to adopt policies that will significantly increase energy efficiency in homes, buildings and commercial industry.
