John Puc Joins Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships

Industry Veteran to Direct NEEP's Regional Energy Efficiency Strategies

Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) announced today that John Puc will join the NEEP Senior Management Team as Director of Energy Efficiency Strategies beginning March 11, 2013. John will direct NEEP's regional projects to accelerate market adoption of high efficiency products including consumer and business electronics, emerging technologies, and residential and commercial lighting solutions including the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC).

With over twelve years working in the energy efficiency industry in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, John brings with him a range of knowledge and expertise regarding strategies to accelerate market interest and investment in energy efficiency solutions. Most recently, he served as National Energy Business Development Manager for Cooper Industries. There he established effective partnerships with efficiency programs across the nation as a strategy to build market interest in Cooper's high efficiency lighting products.

Prior to that, he served as Senior Technical Specialist and Program Manager at Keyspan/National Grid addressing mid-commercial and multifamily sector programs in Massachusetts, New York and New Hampshire. Earlier he served as Technical Field Representative and Project Coordinator at Conservation Services Group for a variety of residential energy efficiency programs in Massachusetts and New York. John also brings to the job experience managing his own high performance home service business. With a degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts and professional technical training in indoor air quality, home energy rating, steam system assessment, energy management and carbon reduction management, John brings to the NEEP team a strong technical and analytical background with his experience in business and customer relationship management.
