Mission

Since 1996 NEEP has been facilitating regional partnerships to advance the efficient use of energy in homes, buildings and industry in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states.

We are the only regional organization that maximizes energy efficient solutions through regional partnerships that leverage knowledge, capability, learning and funding to increase the impacts of individual state efforts.

NEEP's Vision

We envision the Northeast region to wholly embrace energy efficiency policies and programs as a cornerstone of a sustainable energy policy, a vibrant economy, and a healthy environment for people to live and work in. Our work promoting this vision has fostered the region as a role model for energy efficiency nationally. To this end we continue to be a leader in the movement to build a cleaner environment and a more reliable and affordable energy system.
